FAQ'S
Do i have to put a deposit?
Most auctions require a bidding deposit of %0.5 of your maximum bid so that we know you are a serious bidder. Sometimes if auctioneers choose not to take bidding deposits then it will be displayed at the top of the auction page that "No deposit is required for this auction".
Can i bid on more than one auction?
Yes, as long as the total amount of your bids is within your bidding limit
What is my bidding limit?
Your bidding limit is 200 times your deposit. Example, if your deposit is $5000 your bidding limit would be $1,000,000

Is there a cool-off period?
Auctions do not have a cool-off period, if you win the auction you are commited to purchase the property. It is important that you review the contract before placing any bids

What is the difference between Auto Bid and Bump Bid?
Auto Bid is bidding by proxy, which means our platform will automatically bid on your behalf against other bidders one incremental bid at a time up to your maximum bid
Bump Bid is as it sounds, you can use it to bump the price up and knock off other bidders
When does the auction end?
If the auction is a hybrid auction with live video stream, the auctioneer in room will be managing the auction, it would be the same as in person auction except you get to be able to place bids online as well
In the case of only online auction, where there is no auctioneer in room running the auction, the auction will end once the timer finishes counting down. The auction timer will extend the time to 10 minutes if the highest bidder has been outbidded in the last 10 minutes of the auction time.
In the last 2 minutes of the auction, if the countering bid does not outbid the highest bidder the timer will be extended to 2 minutes only.
Why do you extend the timer?
So that all bids are exhausted and all bidders have been given the chance to place a bid if they get outbidded in the closing time of the auction.
So how can i snipe an auction?
Sniping, which is placing your maximum bid in the last couple of seconds of the auction, has no benefit in time-extended auctions.
The best way to increase your chance of winning an auction is to place your maximum bid early so that your competing bidders have less time to make-up their minds, because during the closing period of the auction in the case of new bids being placed but does not outbid you the timer will extend only for 2 minutes instead of 10.
If i am the highest bidder and in the last 10 minutes of the auction i would like to increase my maximum proxy bid, will that extend the timer?
No.
